How To Properly Measure Your Dog

For A Perfectly Fitted Dog Coat or Vest

The below picture shows the coat and strap locations pretty clearly to aid you in your measurements.  Please contact me if you have any questions at all!

You will need to take four (4) measurements:

For the correct back length, measure the distance from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.  Refer to Picture (A) below

About half way beteen the neck and the back, measure from the bottom of one side to the other (an upside down U). Refer to Picture (B) below

This measurement will be for how far the coat will hang down on each side.

Measure the belly width under the dog.  Start from where the vest would hand down and measure under the dog to come up on the other side (kind of a U) Refer to

This measurement will be for the proper length of the straps to secure the 2 bottom sides underneath the belly.

Take a measurement from one front shoulder around the front of the neck to the same spot on the other front shoulder.  Refer to Picture (D) below
