How To Properly Measure Your Dog

For A Perfectly Fitted Dog Coat Or Vest

The below picture shows the coat and strap locations pretty clearly to aid you in your measurements.  Please contact me if you have any questions at all!

You will need to make four (4) measurments.

1. For the correct back length, measure the distance from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Refer to (A).

2. About half way between the neck and back, measure from the bottom of one side, up and over the back, down to the bottom of the other side (an upside down U).  This way the coat will hang down over the back on each side, but not be actually tucked under the belly at all.  Refer to (B)

3. Measure the belly width at that same point on the back as above.  This will be for the proper length of the straps to secure the 2 bottom sides underneath the belly.

4. Take a measurement from one front shoulder around the front of the neck to the same spot on the other front shoulder.  Refer to (C).
